Product Description This model of the Rycote industry-leading Mini Windjammer is made specifically to fit the Tascam DR-100MkII/MkIII handheld portable recorder. It offers enhanced wind noise reduction outdoors with virtually no adverse effect on high frequency sounds. Each version is custom-designed to easily slip on and off the portable recorder. It is made from the same, high-quality synthetic fur material used on other fur-based Rycote products. In 1969, Rycote introduced the world’s first microphone windshield system for location sound and electronic news-gathering (ENG). Rycote has since been honoured with a Technical Achievement Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, and continue to set the standard for professional microphone wind shielding and handling noise reduction.
